TKH (Hearth)

There have been times when Christians were known for their spiritual, intellectual and artistic contributions to society. Bach, Mendelssohn, Dante, Dostoevsky, Newton, Pascal, Rembrandt, CS Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien are but a few who personified the rich tradition of faith. Motivated by a desire to glorify God, they produced the best work of their day and offered it in service of others for the creation of a richer culture.

The Kindlings Hearth is a by-invitation weekend retreat designed to rekindle the holistic spiritual, intellectual and creative legacy of Christians in culture. Co-hosted by Dick Staub, Nigel Goodwin (UK) and Marty O’ Donnell this gathering of thoughtful, Christian creatives involves a two-day getaway in a beautiful Swiss Chalet, 90-minutes from Seattle where we: 1) Develop friendships with thoughtful, creatives in a relaxed environment; 2) Enjoy lively conversation about faith, culture and ideas that matter; 3) See where the first two lead us (While enjoying laughter, good food, great wine and comfortable accommodations.).
