Malcolm Guite – A Vision For the Future – Live from Kindlings Fest 2012
This years Kindlings Fest on Orcas Island asked, “Can Crabbed age and youth live together?" Through film, talks, panel discussions, art, music and casual conversations we explored what it is that keeps generations apart and what can bring them together.
To begin, writer, poet, priest, academic and troubadour Malcolm Guite takes a look at relationality, interdependence between old age and youth in scripture and poetry. In the end, asking us, “How far, as you relate to each other across generations, can you find in each other, the child shining through the adult?"
