I became a Christian while attending First Pres, Berkeley under Dr. Munger. He is precious in my memory. I remember being amazed at how awful many of the ministers were whose churches Rod and I visited while we were at Princeton Theological Seminary. I had not gone to church prior to joining First Pres and hearing Dr. Munger! I thought all ministers were like Dr. Munger – how I wish they were!! Thanks for sharing. Love, Greta

That was a wonderful podcast and it blessed me a great deal. Dr. Munger was my pastor from the time I came to know the Lord in Berkeley in 1953 and baptised me into membership at First Presby. Church-Berkeley. Dr. Munger always preached from a Biblical text and I would reference the texts in my pocket new testament and write the sermon topic at the top of the page. My new testament is full of those texts. I last saw him and spoke to him at University Presby. Church-Seattle when Earl Palmer was installed as Senior Pastor.
