KindlingsFest is a celebration of Art & Ideas where they intersect with the spiritual. This four-day getaway provides just the right mix of free time for you and your family to enjoy the refreshing wonders of Orcas Island while drinking in the morning lectures with Dr. Jerry Root editor of The Quotable Lewis and a relaxing day’s end @ the Bag End Cafe with Nigel Goodwin.

This event is intentionally light on programming so you can relax and enjoy the beauty and slower pace of life on Orcas Island. Thursday through Sunday mornings Jerry Root will deliver a lecture. We will provide an optional bag lunch/BBQ together after the lecture ($10 per person) and each evening at 8 PM Nigel Goodwin will host the Bag End Cafe, an improvisational and participatory celebration of the creativity of folks at the KindlingsFest event. There is no registration fee for KindlingsFest lectures and Bag End Cafe but we DO need you to register because space is limited. All other items ( Accommodations, Meals and all other events) are ala carte! Please go ahead and book your accommodations and make your travel arrangements NOW! Orcas Island gets overbooked in the summer. The KindlingsFest registration process will be ready no later than April 5th.
