<description>Long-distance relationships arent&#039;t new - written correspondence has been around a long time. What is new is the instant feature of our communication. But there is a calculated element to this relationship. We present ourselves as we wish to be seen. We manage our image to the Other - we almost cannot help it, even when we imagine we are unburdening ourselves of our inmost thoughts. If it can&#039;t bear the impact of the physical nature of our being, how fragile is it? How honest?
