What is new is the instant feature of our communication.  But there is a calculated element to this relationship.  We present ourselves as we wish to be seen.  We manage our image to the Other - we almost cannot help it, even when we imagine we are unburdening ourselves of our inmost thoughts.  If it can&#039;t bear the impact of the physical nature of our being, how fragile is it? How honest?
